FOREWORD

Life is a one way journey, and we are never the same person when we wake in the morning as the one that went to sleep the night before. Each day, each love, each tear and smile adds to our being to make us whole and more than we were before, as we step forward.  We cannot go back to be who we were, but we can look back and remember. We can open the jars holding our dreams and memories, remove the thimbles from our fingers and souls that we carefully selected to protect us.  We can write (or read) a poem or book or sing a song to project and reflect and marvel in the echoes of the past and reverberations of the future.  We can go forward.
